President & Chief Creative Officer / 180 Amsterdam
Al Moseley has spent over 15 years in advertising working in both London and Amsterdam at some of the greatest and most creative advertising agencies in the world.
He began his advertising career as a copywriter at Gold Greenless Trott in 1994. Next, he accepted a position as Creative Director at TBWA/ London working on the Apple and Sony accounts. Over the next couple of years he worked as Creative Director at London hot shop Mother, where he led the Orange Mobile, Boots, and the Coca-Cola accounts.
Al’s Coca-Cola experience - and flair for new business pitches - served him well when he moved to Wieden + Kennedy, Amsterdam in 2005, where he joined as ECD and proceeded to lead the team that won the global Coca-Cola account. He was instrumental in creating ‘Happiness Factory’ - one of the best-loved and highly awarded ad campaigns of all time. In addition to Coke he also worked on the Nike and Electronic Arts accounts.
In 2007 Al returned to London to set up his own shop, Hurrell Moseley Dawson & Grimmer (HMDG), where he became the fourth partner. During this time Al Moseley also worked with HRH Prince Charles and created a marketing campaign for The Prince’s Rainforests Project.
However after a three-year stint in London, Al decided to return to Holland and join 180 as ECD and Managing Partner in 2010. Al now works across all of 180’s accounts, with special duties on DHL and 180’s most recently acquired account ASICS.
Al Moseley has brought a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to the management team and creative department. In his spare time he runs marathons, reads books and plays chess – but not at the same time.
