Partner & Creative Managing Director / LOLA
Horacio “Chacho” Puebla is Argentinian and was born in Mendoza. After working in his home town for nearly five years, and having founded the Local Circle Creative, he went to live in the Chilean capital Santiago, where he began his Latin American career. Chacho worked for several agencies, managing both domestic and global clients.
He was then contacted by Alexandre Okada to work in Lisbon with Fernando Belloti. It was here that his European adventure began. After working for Leo Burnett Lisbon for two years he was promoted to Executive Creative Director. During the two years he ran the company with Miguel Simòes, the agency climbed 10 positions in the overall agency rankings. Under his creative direction, the agency was one of the leading creative agencies in the Leo Burnett network, and was rated one of the top 5 agencies worldwide by Creativity of Advertising Age. In 2009 the agency was ranked as the best Latin American advertising agency by the El Ojo awards.
In September 2009 he took on a greater challenge: to bring the Lisbon and Madrid offices of Leo Burnett under one unified vision. By the beginning of 2010, Chacho was invited to join the creative board of directors of the Leo Burnett network. In 2011 yet another challenge appeared: to be the new creative director of Western Continental Europe. After fulfilling this role for a few months, he was invited to join Lowe Worldwide/LOLA Madrid as a partner. A good offer he could not resist. Throughout his impressive career Chacho has won over 250 internationally recognised awards, including 25 Cannes Lions.
